Strike a pose, Madonna fans! Madonna first emerged onto the 80’s scene and became well known in the media for pushing boundaries with all of her early music videos, such as “Like a Prayer,” “Like a Virgin,” and “Borderline.” She would even become known as the Queen of Pop!

The Grammy-award winner, who released her first album in 1983, continues to release hits today, and is still considered to be one of pop music and fashion’s greatest icons.

Flashdance was the movie that introduced Jennifer Beals to Hollywood. She later returned to Hollywood after graduation to star in Vampire Kiss and The Bride.

In the last decade, Beals managed to get roles in Manhattan and The Book of Eli. After participating in The L Word, she has been focused on being a mother, activist, and triathlete.

Jennifer used her role on the teen comedy Leigh to propel her further success. She was later seen in roles such as Flesh+Blood, The Hitcher, and Heart of Midnight. Later on, she appeared in award nominated performances such as Georgia, and Short Cuts.

More recently, Jason Leigh has done minor TV roles in Revenge and Weeds. However, she remained loyal to the big screen and Broadway stage.
